People have many variations of genre favourites, some prefer more than one. The genres that interest people the most however is comedy and horror, both reaching a 60% preference.

The main reason why people want to see a film is because of the genre, getting a 90% percentage for the reason.
What do you like in an opening two minutes of a film?
The reason why a film becomes popular is because of the confusion that is aroused before you find out the plot, having a 60% preference.
